About PC Smart Hosting
Company
PC Smart Hosting was started in February 2006, originally a trading name for Web Hosting services by the PCSmart24 group. Today we specialise in providing Premium cPanel Hosting, Domain Registration and Xen Virtual machines. Since our opening in early 2006, we have grown from hosting local clients, to clients from all corners of the globe.
One of the key things that we pride ourselves on, is our approach to support and customer service. As a smaller company we are able to provide a more personal experience to our customers, working with them to find the perfect solution for their needs. With PC Smart Hosting you will never be treated like a number, and we are here to help every step of the way, whilst your site grows.
The Team
Sales, Billing and Technical Support at PC Smart Hosting are provided by 3 members of staff. Chris, Jason and Jamie. We do not outsource or use any 3rd party support companies along the way, and all of our staff members have a minimum of 1 year experience with cPanel/WHM and other related technologies we use.
In addition, all of our hardware is monitored 24x7x365 in 3 minute intervals, so we know within minutes of any major issues i.e. Servers down.
Our Datacenter
All of our hardware other than our offsite backup servers, are based in the carrier-neutral Blue Square 3 Facility in Maidenhead, Berkshire, United Kingdom.
Blue Square provides us with the ideal environment to host our equipment, providing N+1 redundant power and cooling.
Network Connectivity
Our IP Transit in bluesquare is provided by UKServers who operate a BGP4 Juniper routed network, from two graphically diverse Juniper M7i routers located in Telehouse East and Telecity Redbus Meridian Gate in London. (AS3241).

Our Hardware
We use a combination of Custom Built and Dell Poweredge series Rackmount servers.
All of our newer systems are based around Intel Core 2 Quad Processors, with 4GB PC6400 DDR2 RAM and multiple SATA2 Hard Disks in Raid Configurations. Each server has a 100Mbit (Full Duplex) connection to the internet.
In addition we have KVM/IP access available to all of our client Host Nodes, providing us with console access to our systems in order to ensure a speedy response time to any issues.
